Community Building for Women in Social Impact
Women4Good started in 2016 as a way for women working in the social impact field to connect. As word spread, our members expanded into many other professions, with the common interest of doing good.. Our team hosted Meet n’ Greets, deep dives on topics such as abortion rights, Stop Asian Hate and Black Lives Matter, and an annual holiday giving event supporting a local non-profit.
Past events
Panel Discussion with Planned Parenthood — We learned about the barriers to women’s reproductive health and rights both in the US and abroad, including access to services, restrictive policies, and lack of funding.
Happy Hour at Palomino’s — Our members gathered for cocktails, great conversations and summer weather amidst beautiful Bay views
We hosted "Gamechangers in Social Innovation" with leading social entrepreneurs in the Bay Area
The #Persist Party — Our 3rd annual holiday fundraiser raised over $15,000 for La Casa de las Madres to support domestic violence survivors
#WomenintheHouse Fundraising Gala — Our 4th annual holiday fundraiser was hosted at Lyft, and we raised over $19,500 to support IGNITE National and their programs to support young women’s political ambitions.
Volunteering with ShelterTech — We participated in a social impact datathon, working side-by-side with people who are currently or have previously been homeless, to verify and vet information for the 1000+ services that ShelterTech provides.
