Developing women’s “changemaking” skills
In 2021, Women4Good launched an Ambassador Program to help women develop their leadership skills through pro-bono volunteering. Through a 12-week immersive experience, our Ambassadors dived into a curated, women-centric project that was designed to maximize impact to 3 vetted organizations.
Background
Women4Good sought to deepen member engagement beyond events and networking. Members wanted to contribute their professional skills, but there was no structured pathway to connect them with nonprofits in a meaningful way.
What We Did
Designed and built the Ambassador Program from the ground up — creating the roles, matching process, engagement structure, measurement criteria and relationship management. We introduced Ambassadors to the Bay Area’s most impactful nonprofits - driving change that affects the lives of our most vulnerable residents.
Impact
The program delivered tangible organization value to nonprofit partners, deepened engagement with Women4Good members, and even helped one member land her dream job! We celebrated the completion of the cohort with our friends, family & the nonprofits we supported.
